Questions & Answers
Is there a limit on the number of subscriptions per author?
No, at WI2022 there are no restrictions on the maximum number of submissions per (co-)author.
Is the number of pages for the full-paper text always limited to 12 pages?
Submissions as full papers must not exceed 12 pages in length, including title, abstract, appendices, and author details and acknowledgements for revised contributions. The only exception is the bibliography.
Can the submissions also be written using LaTeX?
For the WI2022 submissions we provide the LaTeX template. You can download it here (GitHub).
Are doctoral students allowed to submit their work if the supervisor is one of the Track-Chairs?
If the Track Chairs themselves are co-authors, then only the submission to a different Track would make sense for the doctoral students. You should not submit the work to your own Track.
Submissions from the authors who have a conflict of interest with the Track-Chairs is still possible. However, it should be ensured within the Track, that the Chair responsible for the paper does not have a conflict of interests with the author.
Do references to your own work have to be anonymized?
References to your own work do not have to be anonymized. However, neutral wording should be used when referencing.
“Our preliminary work Mustermann et al. …”
“Previous research (Mustermann et al.) …”
How exactly should submissions be anonymized?
In the templates (Word and LaTeX), a filler text is provided by default. For the purpose of anonymization it is advisable to proceed as follows:
Word: Remove filler text.
LaTeX: Comment out placeholders for authors and institutes.
